About the Cyber Security Summit
The Business Post Cyber Security Summit 2025 will bring together thought leaders from across government, industry, and academia to discuss cyber strategy and how to secure your organisation’s critical assets in an evolving cyber threat landscape, particularly in these turbulent geopolitical times. Equipping yourself and your business with the correct cybersecurity knowledge and tools has never been more important.
As cyber criminals become increasingly sophisticated, security leaders continue to innovate and leverage solutions such as automation to meet and exceed the complexity of attacks from bad actors. However, no organisation is completely secure—it is a matter of when, not if, for many. It is crucial that response strategies are as robust as defence measures and that investment in these areas is scaled accordingly.
With new legislation from the European Union (EU) addressing cyber and information and communications technology (ICT) risks, we will be discussing key regulations, including the Network and Information Security Directive Revision 2 (NIS2), the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and the AI Act. What do these mean for your business, and what steps can you take now to ensure compliance and preparedness?
The Business Post Cyber Security Summit 2025 will act as a platform for leaders to share the latest insights, best practices, and global trends, including IT investment, large language models (LLMs) and AI chatbots, defending national infrastructure, lessons learnt from recent attacks, emerging threats, and the crucial role of collaboration and knowledge sharing between government and industry in preventing cybercrime and identifying risks.
Attendees will hear real-world case studies from companies across sectors such as utilities, transport, finance, health, aviation, education, manufacturing, pharma, and medical. These case studies will highlight how organisations have tackled cyber challenges, responded to attacks, and, crucially, recovered with confidence. Learn how you can safeguard your operations to deliver business value, advance your leadership skills, and develop a security strategy to bolster your resilience in uncertain times.
This summit will inform and educate attendees about emerging technologies and innovations designed to reduce exposure and implement a prevent-first strategy within their companies. Expert speakers will outline how to build a skilled cybersecurity workforce, develop a pipeline of cyber talent, and attract a more diverse and inclusive workforce to strengthen resilience against attacks.
The Business Post Cyber Security Summit 2025, brought to you by Business Post LIVE and iQuest, will take place on Wednesday, 15 October 2025, at Croke Park, Dublin. If you are an IT or Cyber Security leader looking to explore new strategies to protect your business, join us for insightful and stimulating discussions on navigating the risks and challenges of the evolving cyber threat landscape.
